Suggestion - Gifting Cruor

Cruor has many uses currently, but even so for some players they are finding themselves with a large excess of cruor and nothing to do with it.

In my case, I'm sitting on near 7million cruor. As a White Mage and Bard primarily, I'm not in need of anything that the Cruor Prospectors offer for purchase any more. I have all the key item atmas they sell and full AF3 sets. I'd love to be able to buy Primeval Brews and solo NMs for my friends, but as a mage, that isn't very efficient compared to the damage others can do on melee classes, so my offers to help are declined. Because of all this, my cruor continues to build with no use, which is disappointing.

What I propose is a way to share or transfer cruor from one player to another who can use it. Not a direct trade, of course, but perhaps being able to talk to an NPC in Abyssea who will write you out a deposit slip for how much cruor you'd like to transfer. You can then trade this deposit slip to another player who turns it in to the same NPC to complete the transaction. The deposit slips won't be able to be sent by delivery box or purchased through bazaar, only direct player to player trade. Perhaps only allow delivery box sending to characters on your same account.

Another option would be to allow Primeval Brew to be traded while within Abyssea, but I feel that the deposit slip system gives players a bit more freedom in the use of gifted cruor.

Another option, although much more of a deviation, is to give enhanced damage effects to non-melee classes when used by them, allowing support and back row jobs to be equally efficient when under the effects of a Primeval Brew as a Ninja, Samurai, or other naturally high damage dealer. Again by doing so, this would help encourage people to spend and use their cruor and allow them to support friends and themselves.

With a system of some sort along these lines, players with building cruor but no jobs to use it or anything left to buy can still see those points put to good use in helping other players.

Your a level 90 bard, you are fully capable of brewing. Bard has access to Aeolian Edge, the second best brewing weaponskill in the game, second only to Cleave. Go use that 7 million crour and go own abyssea =D

Yeah I know about Aeolian Edge but its still laughed out in efficiency by other DDers when talking about getting the most out a of Primeval Brew. Offers to use Aeolian Edge brewing are turned down, which is disappointing.

Then they're idiots quite simply.

Flash Nova on WHM or Cataclysm on WHM or Aeolian Edge on BRD are all very respectable brew WSes. So respectable to the point you could -solo- most of the challenging NMs in Abyssea with them.

I know I could brew on any of my jobs and solo one NM. Its more I want to help my friends who are working on weapon trials and need many NM drops. They usually work up pop sets on 4-5 people at a time then go have one person brew them all down in one session. Because my kill rate isn't efficient enough for that many in one brew, my cruor goes unused.

I Know its already been said, But Aeolian Edge works amazingly.

Atma of Gales, Atma of Ultimate, and some WS:Dmg atma if possible (I dont know!) and Aeolian Edge will rape as hard as those DDs. You could Solo multiple NMs with that if they pop how you say. Tell your friends to stuff it and let you brew.

On the OPs topic, I think bring able to trade/gift cruor would be ... nice. But I don't see it as a necessity. Try to convince your friends to stop being tards and realize with a brew, it doesn't matter what "job" you are as long as its a Magical WS.

Well if people are being stubborn/close-minded for whatever reason about letting certain jobs brew, the trade/gifting system would be nice since the cruor can still be put to use instead of being a dead value sitting in server memory. I'd much rather be able to help my friends in some way with the cruor I have rather than listen to complaints about how they are out of it. Of course other uses of the gifting system, for example, could be helping out someone who just returned to the game and just got the new expansions and is trying to collect all the maps and cruor bought atmas to catch up with their friends. It doesn't have to just be about giving people cruor for brewing, although that would most likely be the top use for such a service.

I've tried to talk to them, but they are of the mind that Aeolian Edge isn't damage efficient enough (kills per brew) compared to their weaponskills on NIN and SAM while under brew effects. And yes, this includes factoring use of proper atmas too.
