this probably has been mentioned, or I should have mentioned it before but.
Dark = Canniabal Blade
Thunder = string Clipper
Dark+Thunder = String Clipper. Seems the dark maneuver is being classified as lower then thunder on this ws. Dark+Dark+Thunder = CB.
Didn't test if is same on SS though, not that you would have a Dark or light up that often.
if you put Thunder then Dark pet "may" use CB instead , I'm not sure, but i think it work like this, acting on the last maneuver.
the opposite elements cancel out maneuver completely, like if you put Dark>Light or Light>Dark, pet will use BC instead.
again I'm not entirely sure about this it might got change or wasn't like this to begin with, been awhile since i played pup.
I was always under the impression that when conflicting manuevers are up like 1 dark 1 thunder then the Auto would use highest ws it has IE the one that needs the highest skill to use.
Far as I recall it, the highest elemental trigger takes priority. but maybe not
yes highest elemental trigger does take priority, but when theres a balance like say Dark Thunder and Fire are up then the auto would use string shredder being that its the highest skill ws it has.
I didn't think dark and thunder were balanced, I thought only balanced manuevers were light and dark. I guess you can teach old dogs new tricks. woof
