SE should have really called or emailed you to consult you about their scheduled maintenances. It is so NOT FAIR that they continue to blatantly disregard your very important schedule. They should know better than that.

If SE just "did it", then you would have an avalanche of people all upset because they were in the middle of an Aby NM fight and got disconnected. I am glad that at least SE gives us fair warning.
