Are the beastmen Zilart too?

The Zilart were the original race of Vana'diel, Kuluu are just Zilart seemingly meddled with by Diabolos to lose their telepathy.

After the great explosion the sleeping gods elemental proto-crystals formed on Vana'diel, these are the crystalized domains of the avatars now on Vana'diel.

After the explosion the darkness from within each mother crystal leaked into the area around the arks, this merged the darkness from each of the mother crystals into the people shown to be directly around each crystal in the cut-scenes.

This darkness of each mother crystal overwrote the DNA (or whatever it is to be seen as on Vana'diel) of these people and slowly turned them into living beings that took the form of the ark angels / mother crystals, they no longer evolved normally and they returned to the mother crystals when they died to be reborn again over and over.

The proto-crystals may give off a kind of constant elemental radiation, that mutated the people and animals not hit by the darkness above, which would explain why everything drops specific elemental crystals. All beastmen and monsters that drop fire crystals were maybe originally mutated by the Ifrit proto-crystal.

So the 5 races are the Zilart that were hit by the darkness from the mother crystals, and become living beings that now represent each specific mother crystal.

Everything else (including the other zilart) were mutated by the constant elemental radiation and became beastmen and monsters, this would explain why beastmen around certain proto-crystals are more likely to be aligned with them. For instance Sahagin around Leviathan, and Antica around Titans proto-crystal.

So in effect the Anitca and Galka were originally the same group / tribe of Zilart, and they become enemies as their bodies changed over time.

Due to how the darkness changed the 5 races and how they are constantly reborn, the radiation does not have time to change them at all and so they remain constant. The darkness acts as a kind of shield, to protect them from the elemental radiation.

The Zilart stuck in Sea are in another dimension, were not hit by the darkness from the mother crystal explosions nor any possible radiation from the proto-crystals, so they continued to evolve normally into beings of light as shown by the Quasilumins there.

The Zilart brothers in Rise of the Zilart were stuck in a status chamber, and so emerged exactly the same.

This would also explain why the Kuluu become Tonberry, since they had their darkness removed (and were warned to not do it by Diabolos, but did it anyway) and were now vulnerable to that radiation to become beastmen.

The orcs destroyed the proto-crystal of Odin, and this allowed him to reign free and he directly created or changed beings into demons as he wished.

The Lamia were created by the people in Aht Urhgan in association with the dark power of Odin by meddling with undead magic, and grafting monster parts to deceased people to reanimate them.

So in effect every conscious being could have originally been a Zilart.
