Constructive Feedback on 11/25 Livestream

Hello SE!
I've been playing FFXI since 2003 and Final Fantasy games since 1990. Also, I love watching your live streams, even with subtitles on, because I'm just such a huge fan and really appreciate your hard work, so I'll get right to the point.

It was revealed during the live stream on 11/25 what went into choosing Matsui's Trust jobs as NIN/BLM and what made the most sense in a group setting, in doing so.

...This strikes me as concerning because from our (player) perspective, Matsui-P's job choices were presented in a public player poll, where NIN/BLM "won" this poll. ...I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is a prevailing attitude among players that your polls are created to reflect development work that has already been done, and as a result, there is a similar feeling that these polls are inconsequential. Will this be true of the poll that has been concluded on 11/30?

My feedback is: Could you please give us some indication that you listen to our feedback? I like to refer to Apple's 3 A's of customer service in this situation:

ACKNOWLEDGE: Admit that the customer's concerns are reasonable.
ALIGN: The worker must sympathize with the customer, as if he/ she were in his/her shoes.
ASSURE: The worker must guarantee the customer that he/ she will solve his/ her difficulties.

We are all proud FFXI enjoyers here, and want nothing but the best for this beloved video game property.

For those who hasn't watched the stream, can someone summarise SE's initial findings of the players survey? The link they gave here on the website links to a JP site, which put me off a bit.

I'm pleasantly suprised and how much data was shared with the players ...and in English! With graphs and visual aids too! Thank you SE.

Please continue thinking of us. We appreciate your hardwork and are very loyal fans of Final Fantasy XI! I hope FFXI continues to grow and prosper for many years to come.

This was fixed. I never saw any Japanese on the page.

Yeah, they now released the results of the survey & mentioned the future in their season's greeting message on the main webpage. Interesting reading but not sure about how much they'll implement. At least, they said they'll look into all our suggestions so hopefully will pick up some good ones.

Guessing they were referring to

which links to the Japanese stream that happened.

The final results were not yet posted at that time. ^^
