Steps:

1. Complete the quest 'Storms of Fate'.
2. Interact with the Walnut Door to trigger the cutscene for the alter ego of Prishe (it does not start).
3. Complete the quest 'Shadows of the Departed'.
4. Interact with the Walnut Door to trigger the cutscene for the alter ego of Prishe (it does not start).

Perhaps this is working as intended, but in that case the information in the topic About the Trust Initiative could be improved.

The topic states that 'Players will be unable to receive the alter ego if the quests "Storms of Fate" or "Shadows of the Departed" are in progress or if "Apocalypse Nigh" is in progress and the event scene occurring in Sealion's Den is not completed.' which seems to suggest that Prishe should be available after "Storms of Fate" has been completed fully, or if "Shadows of the Departed" has been completed fully, but not during them being active.

The Japanese text seems to simply say something along the lines of "if either of the quests has been accepted", which is slightly vague as well.

I was able to proceed after the cutscene at the Gate of the Gods during Apocalypse Nigh, but I managed to miss testing before that, which would be after the event at the Sealion's Den (it is a little bit weird that it is possible to move on at that point, since Prishe didn't exactly return home yet...).
