- FINAL FANTASY XI may take longer than usual to launch if it was installed using the new installer that was renewed on May 16, 2019.

*This current version update reflects by starting up the FINAL FANTASY XI client once, then closing down the PlayOnline client properly. For this reason, it may take longer than usual for the game to start upon its initial launch after the version update.
