RE: Abyssea Adjustments.

Since i don't have the clearance to post under the Official link to this, I deemed i needed to make my own thread to ask a very simple Question.

Will the blu spells being removed from the 'yellow' stagger list, be replaced or simply deleted?

Notorious Monster Weaknesses
The following blue magic spells will no longer be effective against enemy weaknesses:
Death Ray / Blitzstrahl / Hecatomb Wave / 1000 Needles / Frost Breath / Firespit / Regurgitation / Seedspray

I know i will be glad to see 1000 Needles gone as a yellow trigger because a lot of people cannot effectively land it, and some mobs are flat immune.

Considering there are so many, I'm guessing they are being removed alltogeather. Like you said, one limitation is some spells are difficult to land. Another big limitation I see is BLU's effectiveness is seriously hurt since their traits rely heavily on spell combinations but your forced to change spells for trigger, wait on cooldown, get trigger, change back, and wait on cooldown again, it could take 5 minutes before your back at full power.

As someone else mentioned, that's 1 spell of each of the 8 elements that got removed. Probably they'll just remove those from the list of possible procs, and not replace them. Would be nice, I'd say. I like that Seedspray is one of them too. Never made sense to me that it could proc yellow, seeing as it's a physical spell, not a nuke....
