A problem with fishing?

A few days ago, I reach Lv90 fishing. I sought after the test fish, and raised my status into Veteran.

Ever since then it has seemed I have had a seriously reduced fatigue cap for the day. Yesterday, I caught 4 Bastore Bream for my Guild Point item, then proceeded to catch Black Sole for the day. It resulted in about 55 or 56 Black Sole before I ran across 35 "You didn't catch anything" messages. This has been a similar story for the past few days ever since I raised my cap.

Is this intentional? A bug? I would like to skill up, but it's going to take 4x as long if I'm only catching 25% of what I used to. Any insight would be wonderful, as I don't understand my problem ^^;

There are some theories that bodies of water have a limited # of fish that get depleted as you fish them up, lowering the # of bites you get per cast as the fish get lower, and that fish get restored over time, like about every game day. So it could just be the area having less fish instead of stamina depletion.

No I've been having a similar experience since the "update". Severely limiting the amount of fish I can catch in a day. I'm posting everywhere to try and find out if it's the same for other people.

Hmmm, I have not even gotten close to 200 fish per day ever since I got my lu shang, I just have not had the time to fish that much, so I have yet to run into a problem with stamina.

So I am now trying to skill up fishing on another character (LV90) to make up for the loss of fish I get from reduced catches per day. He just hit 24 fishing but the limits for the day are very sporadic. 127 fish yesterday, 90 fish today. Does SE now factor in every item/fish you caught but let go towards your limit? Do I catch less because I am low level fishing? Would be nice to get some answers, from some devs.
