Very slow update

I have downloaded less than 20% of the update in 2.5 hours. Recently I tried again and having trouble connecting to POL. I finally connected to POL. Went to ffxi update screen and Error Code POL-1160. friend of mine idd get on and it's be many hours since update and he's saying that only 30 people have mananged to get on the server. If you're having trouble with the update please call or email SE and see what they tell u ><

Yep, same for me. I'm on 12% after 5 hours.. Not quite sure how this is possible in the year 2015.
