There will never be another mmo as unique, or as great as ffxi unless you square-Enix make it. Now that you have tried twice to duplicate the way world of Warcraft plays and you can see it's not what people want, even blizzard doesn't think they can make another world of Warcraft is why they scraped Titan, please go back to being square-Enix again and make final fantasy the way only you can, no other game company puts the time and passion into their missions, quest, story and exellent game play as you "did" please no more imitations may the next final fantasy be genuine with out influence of other game studios, ffxi was amazing 14 years is proof enough, sadly I tried ffxiv twice and can't get into it I've played wow and the leveling, mission/quest structure seems very simular I didn't care for it in wow and still don't in ffxiv, it may be just wishful thinking but I hope for better when the next final fantasy mmo is made.

I doubt we will ever get it back. One thing it all boils down to is profits... The mass majority is full of mouth breathing idiots who wouldn't know a good game if it hit them in the face. They play the newest call of duty 15 praising its excellence even though its the exact same game with a new gun. Then they look at masterful art pieces like the Final Fantasy games and bash them endlessly. SE only cares about profits now and I doubt they will ever remake or copy a niche game like FFXI.

Well the title above is more less going out to those peeps who rather spend there cash for fake imagery digital items to loose there money for years to never see it again basically to easily playing the game for the win without really taking any real challenge and then to put the game down quickly again for some in which some of those intimation games even by SE have done.

Honestly, when I first read the new threads title, I thought it might be a question or a discussion on Square Enix and blizzard is merging or not? <<LOL :cool:
