Carbuncle Mitts Broken

It seems Carbuncle Mitts are broken again and Carbuncle is no longer free at Level 25 Summoner. Is anyone else experiencing this? It was working before but not sure what happened. I started to notice when my mp was going down (Carbuncle Mitts equipped and nothing else) with just having Carbuncle out, which it should not have. I know this was an issue before and it was patched few years back, but it's 2015 now and something is going on. Can anyone else confirm?

Thanks for replying. I realized this is my error because I thought that the perpetuation cost would be constant and not change with level. Please close thread.
