THIS IS A GUIDE based on FACTS and some Personal Observations.

TO : New and Returning members
as we are right now, FFXI has changed Drastically over the years
if we were to take from 2001 ~> 2005 (ERA A)
2005~2009 (ERA B)
2010~2012 (ERA C)
and 2013-2014+ (ERA D)
ERA A (you would be amazing if you did anything over 800 DMG) (doing 1000 DMG was something unbelievable)
ERA B (You could start doing 1,000~1,500 DMG and mobs start to get a lil tricky also SEI NERF some NM for noobs to be able to get, as well as Improved some of the Dynamics)
ERA C (Abyssea) (Doing 3000 DMG is amazing and OMG having EMPERYAN Weapon means you are A GOD where everyone would WANT you to their LS)(NIN was BEST Job hands down.)
(Adoulin) ppl would start doing Delve farm pt (3,000 Plasm) and some of the END GAME LS did NM (18/18)
ERA D (Adv.Adoulin) (#1: You can now Unlock Emperyan WS on any Weapon) (#2: You can now do DELVE with 6 ppl) (#3: MNK is your main Job for DD) (#4: RNG for Marjami , Kamir , Yorcia) (#5: Missions are to completion , where you can get an amazing 1/12 rings of course picking is hard part) (#6: In December Update we will be able to Have MAIN LS + Sub LS) (#7: Unity has Taken over....... AMAZING SYSTEM :D Everyone has to cooperate) (#8: You are now Able to do anywhere from 5000~22000 DMG easily depending on your job) (#9: HAVING R.E.M. 119 Allows you to go through END GAME safely and with flying colours) (#10: Not having a R.E.M. 119 impairs you to be able to do some Events.... but not all..... if you have 119 Weapons and Armor you can still Pull it off as long as you can 1: hit, 2: not pull hate or Get enough Hate depending on job , 3: Buff properly)
Hopefully this helped clear a bit of the questions I been getting lately from New / Returning players
MAIN FOCUS:
***109 / 119 AF and Relic (NOT 5/5 of course, some parts only and mix them to make it Optimal)
***119 Weapon
*** for BRD 3~4 Songs Harp + "ALL song+3~4" Instrument
***For Mages: FAST CAST ! QUICK MAGIC ! M.ACC+
***For DD: Unlocking BOTH: Mythic / EMPERYAN Weapon Skill
***For Everyone: Getting CLEARS from DELVE: Morimar , Foret , Ceizak , Marjami , Yorcia
Morimar, Foret , Ceizak at least !!!!!!!!!!
Marjami and Yorcia after But need a good SETTUP
ALSO : DO NOT ASK your LS to do DELVE if you are not ready!!!!!!!
to be ready:
Skirmish SET or +1 5/5 armor + AF 109~119 + Relic 109~119 + Weapon 119
USEFUL JOBS for ADOULIN END GAME events:
MNK(/RUN /DNC /WAR)
BRD(/WHM)
WHM(/RDM /SCH)
RDM(/BLM)
RNG(/WAR)
COR(/RDM)
PLD(/RUN) (Aegis / Ochain)
SAM(/WAR)
Other USEFUL JOBS for non DELVE/Hardcore Events:
THF(/DNC)
NIN(/DNC)

Well that is Basically a GUIDE I can give to you guys.
Do w/e you wish tho, Just Stating how Facts are and how you should go about your jobs,Armor,Strategy ^^
of course , there are uses for some jobs, but basically stating the most common ones.
If any of this stuff you do not agree with please feel free to POST a Reply correcting me or w/e
I just thought would be nice to give some Pointers out from Somebody that does END GAME Daily , and sees what END GAME LS ask for , Use all the time on their runs.
