Delve Suggestion

I think it would be a lot better if Delve was changed from 45 minutes to 60 minutes. also Delve should be made easier, though with new equipment I guess that is happening. But I think the time limit should change. Also each party member should get THEIR OWN treasure chest, just as in skirmish, or wildkeepers reive you get your own treasures.

Why'd you need a time change for delve? Most of the avg pt can avg 10+ min left in any of the zones if done right. It's already easy enough as it is. If you aren't winning it that means your pt organization needs improvement, you shouldn't ask content to become easier or else there won't have any fun content in FFXI anymore.

What's the point to spend time and gear up your job, improve pt organization and job performance if all the content are easy wins? There should be hard content so there's a reason to improve pt organization/job playing skill and gear. You know, a reason to play the game. SE made all that 119 RME and armors for you to beat hardest content, not to stand in town and look pretty.

There's no need to get their own treasure chest too, you can buy reward with plasm. That is your indiviual treasure chest.

I don't think I've even seen a Delve group since the new WKR came out. Seems people got everything they needed from Delve and haven't been back since.

I have seen a few here and there, but its rare, and its understandable, Delve was about the only content we had for the first 3 months besides the original Skirmish which was laughable after Delve came out the second month into the expansion. We spammed it to death.

yeah which isn't fair for the people who are left behind. that's why it needs to be made easier, something doesn't need to be hard just for the sake of it being hard, that's quite stupid actually. it needs to be easier.

Delve already being made easier once. That almost killed the game and endgame community because everyone started to cap gears and quit.

If hard contents are always adjusted to be easier after release everytime, it'd lose it's purpose. Next hard content out? Ppl would just wait for it to be easier, then next hard content out, more ppl wait for it to be easier. In the end nobody want to do hard content anymore, except braggers who wanted world first. For avg raider/endgame players they'd just wait and wait until it gets easier, and nobody want to do content anymore.

And lol@ content is hard for the sake of being hard. Of course a video game is hard for the sake of being hard so ppl have fun playing them. I still make delve PUG here and there, have very little issue clearing them at all in PUG, sometimes hand out wins for free for returning/new players. If you come to rag you can probably get a free win for all 3 zones for free lol.

If you can't clear it, instead of complaining about it being hard, why not try to find out WHY you can't win? There must be a reason. Sometimes it's because stun/heal/DDs are bad, sometimes just pt organization.

Game is there for you to beat, if you can't beat it adjust your strategy and try to win. Not pop on a forum and complain about it being too hard. You're taking the fun away from many other ppl who enjoyed delve's challenge by asking it to be easier.

Time in delve is fine(Either your group has the power or they don't. If time is an issue, then bead some NMs). Drops are fine as they are as well (can save up plasm if you don't get what you want)

The real problem is the wins. As a returning player, I've had a somewhat frustrating experience with getting wins from shout groups. They aren't very frequent (Maybe 1 a day?) and it doesn't take much for the group to fail at the mega boss. Not to mention you have a lot of people playing jobs they don't like or aren't experienced with just so they have a chance at getting into a group (Think of all the returning DD who don't have a 119 weapon. Their option is to either build relic or come as support a lot of times)

I don't think anything should be given without earning it, but there is a declining playerbase and a declining interest in delve (for people who have most of the gear from when it was hot) I think it would be nice if some new content and maybe some new methods were developed for delve. What this content or methods would be, I don't know, but it needs something.

now there is hardly any if at all shouts for delve anymore, so now NO ONE who didn't already dhave it cleared can even do it, which is why it needs to be made easier, NO ONE DOES delve anymore, it's gotten really bad.

also people do Ark Angels now, and in order to do Ark Angels, you need the lvl 119 Delve Gear and if you don't have Delve clears or plasm YOU CAN'T GET THE LVL 119 GEAR, so for the people who didn't get delve clears or not enough plasm, they can't do Ark Angels or even get the lvl 119 armor. it is really bad.
