Returning player on Phoenix

Hi, I recently bought the FFXI complete collection and started playing again after a long time away from the game. I've been enjoying myself so far, I started a new job (RDM) and was soloing for a while and it's getting boring, I tried going to Gusgen Mines for book burning parties, shouting in Jeuno for for book burning parties and Old School EXP parties and have had no luck. I was wondering if there was anyone here in the same boat that would like to group up to kill stuff? I'm level 17.
