FFXIV questions..

Ok I get this when I try to log on the ffxiv forms:

So i really do not know what to do. I had a friend talk to me about some bata something or other to try it out. I bought the orginal game and it says 1.0 is no longer in service and install it.

so does this mean everything I did will not transfer over? and I have to buy a new game? I am really confused even after trying to find some answers.

Did you cancel your v1 account? You may need to reactivate it if you did. Just go to your SE account page and look at the status. If its cancelled try to reactivate, if you cannot reactivate you will need to call customer service.

If you can restart your old account everything should transfer unless it was one of the items that was deleted from the game (such as ammo, some synthing mats and what not) and 90% of your gil will be gone. Other than that all your lvls and what not should be intact. All of the info on what transfers you can find on the lodestone if you go back through all the posts.

Official launch is on the 27th so not that far away.

Nop it just ran out when the free stuff stopped being free.

Cancelled Service Accounts

There are no service accounts that have been cancelled.

I would just call customer support and ask them whats going on.

If you have the Legacy logo and achieved Legacy status that means you paid for at least 3 months of service toward the end. So you may wanna ask them about that too

You may want to check the email account associated with your Square Enix account (don't forget to check spam/junk folder). If you have Legacy status (which it looks like you do) then you should have an email about the open beta. It will direct you to the download link and allow you to log in to the forums.

Is the new ffxiv gonna have a game disk? it looks like its all download? and I sent an email i am terribly confused with what they are doing.

I couldn't find an e-mail talking about a link to get back on the forums, anyone know what date it was supposed to be? like what month? anything would be helpful

It's both, though PS3 digital purchase is TBA.
