Please get rid of permanent Temporary Key Items

They annoy me. It makes me feel like I've got something to do, when in fact they're just leftover trash from completed quests due to sloppy programming (presumably?). Carrier Pigeon Letter and Treasure Map, I'm looking at you. Permanent KI or GTFO plz.

Also Atma & Abyssite should have their own section rather than sitting in the Temporary Key Items section (like Magical Maps got a couple of years ago). Aren't they permanent anyway (except the VNM abyssite)?

While we're at it, the Permanent Key Items, Magical Maps and Atma/Abyssite (that I just invented) menus should contain a complete list of available items, with ones not yet obtained greyed out and un-viewable. I need more pointless stuff to collect (no, seriously).

Possibly you think the developers could be spending their time doing something more constructive, but for me, this is the ONLY problem in an otherwise perfect game.

I'd agree. I find this really confusing personally.

Agreed, I would like to see something done about them as well.

What ever happened with that 255 key item cap problem?
As for atma and abyssite, I bet there's a way you could talor the NPCs to track them for you.

You don't even need to look at them, what does it matter...?

I just think that Atma and Abyssite should have their own key item section since they're not all that temporary.

Also, maybe you do have something left to do?

I keep the dream alive that someday we'll bring the atma back from Abyssea, and 3 of them will become permanent.
