What is the best graphi settings for me?

I have fiddled with this, and that. But eveytime things look weird, like too thin or too fat.
my resolution is 1920/1200.

I don't want like, see EVERYTHING around you, but i do the smaller size stuff, and it was perfect when i played in window mode, perfect then I played full screen.

I though I play up the graphics, since my comp now is better than like 4 years ago.

Any suggestions?

Edit, I do want to play windows mode, not sure how much of a difference that would make

edit 2- Imy issues mainly are with the screen resolution
