How do I change from walking to run?

I am walking all of a sudden and it is slooooow :) I must have hit something on keyboard and dont know how to change it back to run. PLease help. Also is there a way to port back to my home point from somewhere else in a city. I am in Sondoria and I am all the way on other side and wanted to know if I can port back or I have to run back. Thanks...

Default keys for 'Toggle Walk/Run' are (ctrl/alt +) Z and the / key of the numeric keypad. You can check (and set some of) those keys at Config -> Misc. 2 -> Key Assignment -> Movement/Commands.

If the Keyboard Size is set to Compact 1 or 2, the keys are used without the ctrl or alt modifier (the numpad keys never use the modifiers).

There is no way to warp around the cities without using the spell Warp to get to your home point, except for Windurst, where there are certain NPCs that can use their magic to transport you to other parts. However, a quest exists that allows you to exit the mog house to any part of the city (Growing Flowers for San d'Oria).
