personally I'm pretty fond of the Vanadiel Tribune artist(s),

also I don't think he's here. or speaks english (maybe send him a paperform letter)

I sure do hope we get another boxed expansion. They've only got 3 or so to go to complete off the world. Why the Hell wouldn't you when EQ has like eighty?

Yoshitaka Amano lives in California and is an independent artist, now. His website is also in English, not Japanese. I'd assume he can speak at least some English. The reason he does the box art is due to tradition. He was there for FF1-6, and his artwork is synonymous with the franchise. Final Fantasy actually saved Squaresoft from going completely bankrupt. Hence, the name. He is a much-beloved icon.

At least 5, you aren't counting the central Tavnazian city or the other half of Aht Urghan.

I realy hate the old box art.
