Respawn timers on Miining Points in Halvung

So Im just curious if anyone has any information on a certain occurance in Halvung involving respawn time of Mining Points..

Im mining for Aht Urhgan Brass to make a Thurible to add to my mogenhancement desynth collection.. I've been in zone about 2 hours mining as usual, I've been at this spot to farm Aht Urhgan Brass before, previously to make my alchemy set furnishing which took over 4hrs to farm for, since Aht Brass is never on AH or when it is it is severely overpriced.
So Mining as usual and after like I said a hour, hour and half I'm wondering around the pattern of spawns for the mining points and all of the mining points have ceased to repop.. None of them are up and I've walking around this lava pit for over 3hours now getting nothing done. Can someone provide any info on what might be happening here?

After futher investigation on ffxi-atlas I have discovered 2 mining points further south of my location which I had no idea existed.. I mined those 2 spots and rotation of mining points spawns in the others have continued!

just to clear up as well there are no other players in zone with me.. so no one else is beating me to the mining points..
