Another Returning Player Thread

Hey all, Figured i'd create a post on this site as well. I'm an old school FFXI player from about 7 years ago. Used to love the game, to the point it sucked up soo much of my time. Jumped in the World of Warcraft Bandwagon (save the EWW's please lol) Recently after so many years getting burnt out. Multiple 85s, in the beta for the new expansion, raid experience, so much knowledge about the game it makes me sick, I wanted to come back and give FFXI a shot. So far i'm loving it. Little worried though that i'm not understanding the game like I should. I made a toon on Shiva just because the site I posted on originally a gentleman replied, invited me to his LS and all that good stuffs. Friendly people but not really newbie friendly. So here I am looking for a server that's active, friendly, maybe a LS that's willing to hold someones hand and help a returning player get into the swing of things. Currently on the 30 day trial so i'm not against makin ga new toon and checking out another server. Just hope I get some good answers today so after work I can start grinding. Any homes out there that would like a stray would be awesome. Thank you all.
