Temporary items?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm really confused about the temporary items.If you get too many do they vanish forever? can you use them all at some point during battle?

Temporary items work differently depending on where you get them. Besieged temps are only available during a Besieged and are lost when the fight is over. Ballista (if anyone actually does that any more) temps are the same. Abyssea temps are kept for when you return to Abyssea but are only available within Abyssea zones and cannot be used when you exit.

You cannot hold duplicates of temporary items, so any extra's you obtain are automatically lost. However, the list of items you can hold at any one time is pretty large so don't feel compelled to use them all up if they're not needed at the time.

Hmm all my temp items I got tonight were from treasure chest from battles... but they vanished when I went back to the village after fighting.

Temp items are lost on Zone changing, hence the temporary name.

Also for normal exp zones u get higher temp items if u are in higher level area.

So if u use them levling u might wanna save some for times when things look to go bad, i usally just use one when i get a duplicate in new chest or wanna take down multiple mobs at once if levling low level char to keep downtime low.

Those temps (FoV/GoV) are lost upon zoning, it's mostly there to help you out then and there.
