Update Ballista OM rewards

Please make a simple tweak to the EXP rewards received at the end of a Ballista match:

For a level 99 Match:

30,000 exp, and give each winning member 10,000CP for the nation they are allied to.

For a level 60 Match:
15,000 exp, and give each winning member 5,000CP for the nation they are allied to.

Etc. Etc.

Scale the rewards for the various caps, while giving a clear incentive to participate at the highest level possible.

If you also desire boost the gil reward as well, to the nature of 25,000 - 35,000g (It doesn't really matter since you seem to have no problem with Chocobo blinkers anyway).




This means that every Ballista match a player could accumulate enough points to feed into other events like Voidwatch/whatever and also have a small exp/gil reward.

The real change that needs to be made is to allow a Ballista match to give a player a decent amount of Conquest points, this is a very minor change that would have positive impact by lowering the price of void dust and allowing people to enjoy content like VW further.

(I say enjoy with extreme reservation)

I think giving CP would be a fitting reward, and would give people incentive to play more in order to get more Voidstones. However, I don't think the CP reward necessarily needs to scale with the level cap. It could be a flat rate, to keep incentive to play all level caps. I think the EXP reward would be need to be scaled however (similarly to how it already is in official matches).

But what also needs to be updated is the requirement of Ballista points to reserve Diorama. This should be removed so that players are free to use Diorama when they wish (not everybody wants to do Brenner).

Nobody cares about level 10 30 40 50 60 PvE, PvP isn't any different. We whine and groan about level capped things, and nothing but rejoice and hurrah's were heard when CoP and various storyline missions had their level restrictions removed. Everything having to do with level caps was loathed and detested and the "sync" system proposed by gear hardly fixes it.

The game should/gives incentives that the higher level you play, the farther you progress the more reward you recieve: i.e Garrison gives rewards inferior to voidwatch. Anything else goes against this, defies rudimentary common sense.

You kill higher level mobs, you get better gear.
You kill higher level mobs, you get more money.
You kill higher level mobs, you get more exp.

You fight with higher level players, the reward will be greater the battles more intense.

Its fine for the various caps to all give some rewards, even with level 10 giving 2,000CP and scaling up by 500-2000 points per cap, so at least one voidstone is acquired.

However, level caps existed when leveling took eons compared to what it does now. Now a person can hit 99 in a couple of days and begin gearing to do level 99 things.

Playing 39 levels below the cap when there is easy leveling and more access of gear is even more asinine than playing at 15 levels below the cap was.

Unless you want to do it for "funsies" but then we should all accept that the reward will scale with the level's involved, and that there is a higher plateau we all can see and have no excuse to not be apsiring to.

You're right about the Diorrama thing, either remove the points needed or lower it to like 10. While they are added they could put some neat consumables or cosmetic items buyable with our ballista points and expand the cap beyond 2k.

I enjoy the lower level cap fights as well as higher level ones. And actually, I think I enjoy 60 cap more than the higher level caps. I don't see any harm in offering a flat-rate CP reward for lower cap fights, because the game still takes 1 hour of time, and the level of the foes relative to you is always the same. While you do generally have more strategies to contend with the higher the level cap, I don't think making a bias in reward toward one side of the cap or the other is ultimately good for Ballista's longevity. This is all my opinion, anyway. I'm speaking from the mentality of when I used to play Ballista pretty much 'round the clock because all level caps were active with players.
