Lancer Armor+2 Set Effect not working with Jumps

Steps:
While equipping the full Lancer Armor+2 set the "Occasionally attack varies with Wyvern HP" effect does not ever activate while using Jump/High Jump/Spirit Jump or Soul Jump. While all 5 pieces are equipped there is a low 5-10% chance of it activating on a normal strike but not a WS. With the entire set equipped and using all 4 Jump abilities on 100 enemies each for a total of 400+ jumps I have never found any of them to deal increased damage with my Wyvern called and at full HP(When Wyvern is at full HP, there is a chance for double damage). The set effects of Empyrean Armor+2 in general are known to not work for weapon skills but are known to work on normal strikes. Jumps are neither but I'm not sure if it is intended for the effect to not work on them(considering other things like "Blood Weapon", "Souleater" "Occasionally attacks twice" or "Enthunder" or other Additional Effect abilities work on Jumps.)
