FFXI & FFXIV Possibly down until end of April

Recent news about the power supply in Japan is stating that they will not be able to have full power restored until as early as the end of April. At that time they will not have enough reserve power for anyone to run air conditioners as the power consumption will increase by 50%. Will this mean the inevitable end to FFXI & and early delay to the questionable FFXIV? Even if SE is able to run there servers for us to enjoy I am sure they will do so in a beta test manner. This meaning JP will have servers running on X,Y & Z days from A - B time. & NA,UK, EU will have to play on S,T & U Days from C - D time. I am sure that they will want there servers up and running even if it is only 1/4 of the time & only charging people a 1/4 of the cost so that they are still making a profit & are able to TRY & make a come back. I could also see them having to add a new expansion if this were the case just to entice existing players to keep playing & old/new players to come back.

Just a thought for everyone to think about.

Everyone in Japan is in my prayers & I have donated my Playonline fee to the Red Cross. I will keep doing this every month until the people of Japan have food to eat & a roof over their head. God Bless.
