First of all i would like to thank the whole Dev team for making a great game that i have enjoyed for close to 9 years and is in my opinion still going strong.
That includes the Dark Knight job which is my favorite by far :)
I would like to know a little more about the new two hour abilities like are they going to share a timer with our current 2 hour? or have their own merits from the time they are introduced and if they are meant to add to or strengthen our current two hours or be their own class defining power button.
No immediate answer is expected of course but a hint would be nice :D
Blood Weapon
Causes all attacks to drain enemy's HP.
Obtained: Dark Knight Level 1
Recast Time: 2:00:00
Duration: 0:00:30 One minute Duration would go great with Souleater
I would like to have the HP taken by Souleater reduced when paired with Blood Weapon Something like -1% for every merit ultimately -5%
Dark Wave
Delivers a powerful Darkness based ranged attack that leaves opponent Blinded
Plagued and paralyzed. adding a "Attribute Down" effect too
Obtained: Dark Knight Level [To be determined by devs]
Recast Time: 2:00:00
Duration: Instant
Merits would add a longer duration to all of the negative status effects it inflicts.
Well those are my ideas and seeing as we have a physical based 2hr already the magic job ability nuke does not seem far stretched.

I Agree with You on Blood Weapon. And no resistance of Any kind when paired with Soul Eater should be added. "Dark Wave" is Just EvIL lol, but I am for it. Good Suggestions, Rohelius.

Oh yeah thats a typo.
The reason i did my own thread is because lately in these forums people yell and demand things like angry little kids.
I do understand why they are mad but the way they go about asking for it it totally wrong in my opinion.
I do not think myself to be the ultimate authority on all things dark knight just because i know the math behind haste and fTP so im not gonna demand things from the dev team that are just designed to make my relic scythe epeen match those from other jobs...
To me Dark Knight is more then all of that and i have been in that boat since 2002 release and have seen it grow into what it is now i have no problem with the scythe power in abyssea granted it needs a crit WS if u want that big number every time but the fact that i can match or come close to their numbers is a point of pride for me and my job. -
