Dev Team: Items that Enhance Resistance

Since SE seems to be more open these days with update notes etc.

Would it be possible to detail exactly what a +3 on a Diamond Ring means or any piece of gear for that matter, as far as resisting status effects?

Also could you tell us if enhancements on various items are equal, if they differ, and if a good general rule would be to assume the higher the item the better the effect.


If the Dev team could shed some light on this topic, it would be greatly appreciated.
