KI not dropping from Red !! weakness.

We've been farming Bri helms for a friend's Kannagi today. We went to do Pantagruel, and the first KI did not drop with red proc. We figured this first one was a glitch and continued to pop, trigger red, and kill two more times and never once did the KI drop. None of us had the KI and everyone was alive. After submitted a GM call, we were told the NM was functioning as designed, and to go to the forums. So here I am.

Anyone else had this problem??? I've never seen a KI/atma not drop with red proc, much less 3 times in a row.

having similar problems finding guku KI in gold boxes but when ya ask GMs they cont care and direct you here to troll city. Needless to say ya dont get much help here either.

The game is bugged out atm but SE wont acknowlage it. Was fighting the xion NM @ aby vunk.. It was wind for red. The nins did GK over and over. I did dagger over and over and not once did it proc. Then while one of the 2 nins was off fighting a tiger for TP. The game msg says the nin that was like 50 yalms away procs for red. Was like 7 people in that pt going wtf...

But the game is working as intended... It is so anoying how lasy SE is.

My group has had glitches like that before. Where someone would proc red and it would say that a person that was afk proc'ed. We've also had issues where we popped an NM in blunt and the blue hint came back as piercing. It sucks and it still happens, but we just make sure to pop earlier in blunt to avoid it.

Update: Went back in later and got KI as usual. I just don't understand what was going on. Odd.

Probably just really bad luck.

KI drop is not 100% with red trigger. It's obscenely high, but not 100%; the odds of not getting it three times in a row are really really low, but it's possible.

I actually never expected the triggered weaknesses to result into 100% chance of certain loot and I've gone and triggered red several times myself resulting into no key items.

One of the most painful ones was when I defeated Xibalba 3 times and never got the Abyssite (dear Altana how I hate that skeleotr typo intended).

It has been more rare that key items other than Abyssite has gone 'missing', though, and I do think they should all be 100% certain to be found, if we go through the effort to trigger the weakness.
Obviously with seals and equipment it's even less of a 100% chance, but that said, I would guess red is not such either. I wouldn't say it's definitely intended to not be, however...
