I'm not sure how that helps when PLD is taking up a spot that could be used by a DD doing more damage.
The suggested adjustments offer a way to hate control through the use of weapon skills, all the while increasing the TP gained from each hit a PLD takes from a monster (thus increasing WS usage, increasing DPS). That's the theory behind it anyway.
I think Paladin needs its own job ability similar to "Provoke"; a way to generate VE quickly with a short recast time. But maybe that's just me. Also, Flash II.
Make content with strong mobs and you fix PLD.

-Enmity isn't an issue, no changes necessary in any form here
-Paladin doesn't need more VE, or Provoke
-Paladin is fine on lv90+ non-Abyssea content
-Paladin will never be good in Abyssea, dealwithit.jpg
-Paladin doesn't need a buff, just more content like Neo Dynamis and Voidwatch in terms of NM difficulty.
