This has been touched on b4 in other threads. But most of them were "what do u think" style threads. I feel that what jugs we get on our journey to 99 is incredibly important and will shape the usefulness of the entire job. Much in the same way as wat new blu spells will do to blu mage. There are some important factors that need to be looked at.

Firstly, theres a major difference between the performance of jugs pre 75 and post 75. EVEN with bst affinity merits a lvl 85 cactuar is no where near the power of a lvl 85 sheep. So essentially this means that if a jug existed at 75 and has not been replaced yet, then it is a lost jug type. I hope this issue is addressed. There are many staple jug archetypes that the bst community grew to love that have not yet been replaced. And it would be very sad indeed if they never saw the light of day again. some examples would be : Cactuar, Courrier Carrie, Diremite, Antlion, Tiger, beetle. While it is nice to gain new styles of pets and therefore new options, I feel that these historical pets should be represented in the end.

Secondly, there has been rumors that some of the oldest of the post 75 jug pets are starting to reach their lvl caps. I am requesting that SE please consider all the new jugs capping at 99. Even if its capped at 99 only with bst affinity. Jug selection is an integral part of our class. Especially since u have chosen to replace charm with call beast.

Thirdly, in regards to the monster affinity chart wich plays a large role in much of our repertoire, We are still missing birds for aquan killer. And since courier carrie has fallen behind in power and has not been replaced we are now functionally missing aquans for amorph killer. This really isnt fair at all.

And lastly, in regards to new mob families we might gain access too. I feel that Opo-opo is the best choice. The background story behind AF1 set a precedent for having an opo as a pet. But there are other charmable monsters that have not been represented yet. Such as puks, pugils, sea monks, uragnites, dhalmels, bees, crawlers, flies, scorpions, spiders, saplings, hecteyes, slimes, slugs, lolworms, giant bats, colibri, birds, and tri bats.

In closing, If u truly are going to continue to make charm useless in all endgame content for balance purposes then at least make sure call beast works properly as a replacement by expanding our jug list to cover as many of the pets as possible by 99.
