New Puppet ? Add Ideas to mine!

SMN asked for Avatars for years and eventually got something.

As i did starting missions (Windy) on my 2nd character today...
something came to me all of the sudden!

Why cant i have a Cardian as Puppet!

I mean SE could add some fancy Ace-Cardian related Storyline for it and stuff.
Like Toau finshed for Avtars... Windy finished for a Cardian Puppets?

It would be so cool XD Cardians talk funny =P

I would love to get a new pet option... a Cardian would be neat!
What do you think?

Edit: And if you have other Ideas Like the Big golden Robots in Toau.. add them :p You arnt Limited to Cardians.

Sounds neat. Perhaps we could use the cards dropped by cardian mobs for acquiring certain skills or buffing it up. It would give us a reason to go back to the ruins. They could also add higher level cardians in the ruins or elsewhere that drop newer cards.

Cardians don't do anything special anyway.

If you're going to come up with suggestions, make them well-thought-out.

Any new frame/head should still look like a puppet; its the things that it does that should change. I'd be happy to have a singing puppet or one that otherwise provides buffs of some sort.

Puppetmaster is not a mind controller or machine operator- it has no business having anything to do with arcana.

I don't like being a killjoy, but the puppetmaster is about puppets. If someone suggests we be able to control the iron colossus... I'm going to smack them. :p

On a Serious note thu Cardians are Puppets animated by 'Dark Mana Orb's' but are puppets none the less.

Singer would be cool indeed. But might sound arkward. And positioning of a singer Puppet might prove difficult.(Song range would be equal to 'Avatar's Favor?)

Also i would like a Puppet that could do meele for serious meele dmg. I think the best combo right now in that would be a Valorshot (VE Head / SS Body) that does not put out any significant dmg compared to blm puppets ( outside abys VS does a bit better) A Cardian now would be a potencial good Meele DD.

Ye the golden robots would be too there are small ones of these in Abys but i personally dont like those. I would be happy with a Cardian and it would work out in case of Story relations.

But if Pup got any BIG Pet .. Drg would come up with fully grown Wyverns lol

well since automatons were based of the same tech as the iron colossus, aka alexander... its not that far off to think we could control a mini 1... but more puppet like, also automaton r a form of arcana atleast going by the game~
my ideas were to have like... a head and frame that sorta resembled alexander... bulky armor... and actual tanking and cureing qualities~ the other i thought could be 1 that actually cast buffs and would look like a Yuke :P they look like automatons anyway but a lil cooler ~,^b

Alexander frame is basically a big automaton, we should have got it as 2 hours (true overdrive, transformation !), not smn XD.

Maybe a thf or dnc like frame with 2 blades,TH and enmity transfer or dancing JA.

I'd take an Iron colossus pup, that would be hilarious, because if they did give it to us it would be resized to our pup's size and a tiny colossus is hilarious. Your right tho cardian as a pet is not only wrong but its been brought up already and it was wrong then as it is now. I really want them to set valoredge as defined tank and give us a defined melee pup, as well as more versatile bodies to use. Perhaps unique heads for each type, as in mage, melee, or ranged, and each unique head had special abilities to boost its performance.

Sure i noticed that it was suggersted sure i noticed its limited to Cardians only :D you can really post Ideas for any new puppet here be it 'Iron Colossus' or something like a 'flying Airship Puppet'(FTW)! no Limitations!

I agree that we could use a couple new Automaton frames between 90-99 for some added variety.

Frankly, I think it would rock to have a SAM type puppet. Of course using a mini-GK type weapon 2-hand style where you can use attachments to act as Store TP etc. etc.

Also, turn our base puppet (our poor Harlequin) into a MNK type Automaton.

Better yet how about a puppetmaster frame so our auto can have his own auto and sit there and complain about its stupid AI with us lol, but serious. Or the smn auto that only summons spirits, lol ok I'll be serious.......frog auto ftw. Ok this time I'll be serious I to thought about the concept of having a samish automaton, but with less of a gkt and more of just a two handed weapon that ultimately looked like something that comes out of that shop, and the mnkish one was also an idea I had that I completely agree with, its good to hear others share good ideas in this forum. Iron Colossus auto now dammit.

Turn Harlequin into a Mime type Automaton where it can mimic certain abilities and spells of current party memebers last used ofc recast time applies etc XD
