This needs to be improved or scrapped, its useless data on most servers no one really does it. Any plans on doing something to ballista?

People never did ballista because they were too busy camping 72 hour NM's

Ballista i always found really fun to do with friends, Its a great place to beat the P**s out of each other.

That being said, The problem from the beginning i think was the lack of rewards. Ballista, While fun for a ... certain type of player... had no actual rewards in it outside of bragging rights, which is why the system slowly became stale.

I'd imagine the problem is also the bad stigma around Ballista. When someone says Ballista, some people instantly think of the typical "You guys suxors i'll ballista you bro" type of player who basically tries to use "Ballista" to act tough. Its just hilarious. This isn't everyone though.

Honestly, based on what type of people who do ballista, i expect nothing less than a fevered angry rage-wall-of-text to this post about how I'm completely wrong on why ballista died/etc.

God forbid i say Its unbalanced and a few jobs are overpowered in ballista, making it unfun if you don't have one of the "good jobs" and you'll pretty much just repeatedly eat dirt. >___>

-Really Though, its still quite popular on some servers, theres even a few Ballista threads here on the forums already. I won't say the system is completely dead, because its not. Its just on most servers its rarely done. I don't think we'll see a Ballista "adjustment" any time soon, but im sure a good portion of the population would enjoy it.

I think the main problem with Ballista is accessibility. It's just so inconvenient to use, if you asked me now, I still can't remember what to do without checking the wiki. People should just be able to talk to one NPC, they'd teleport you to a certain area and you have at it, that's it. But SE isn't exactly known for their user-friendly interface, so I don't see that happening anytime soon.
