Level 90.... Now what?

Hi Guys

I recently got my first job to level 90, DNC

But now I am confused as to what I should be doing next...

Is there somesort of level 90 checklist I should be looking at?

What do people normally do?

Merits, look at improving your gear, get some more experience with the job (if you need it adn want to solo), AF3, accessories etc etc

1) Get all your Abyssites. The important ones anyway. You should focus on:
*All 3 Lunar Abyssites
*All "Furtherance" and "Merit" Abyssites.
*all "Celerity" Abyssites (3 total IIRC)

2) Get all the good Atmas. They are:
*Razed Ruins
*Apocalypse (This one is going to take a while)
*Gnarled Horn
*Ultimate
*Minikin Monstrosity
*Voracious Violet
*Sanguine Scythe
*Beyond
.... theres more i Can't think of.

3) Work on your Empyrean +1/+2 Armor, Its good stuff, Gear yourself up. This is obvious :P

4) ???

missions, quests, BCNMs, there's a million things to do, in no particular order.

Get the best gear and weapons for your dnc, help friends get items they want, go try soloing some relatively hard NMs both inside and outside of Abyssea, level at least 1 more job for versatility to better help friends, level crafts (synergy), complete quests and missions (I soloed windy missions 1-10 and had fun doing that), skill up all weapons that dnc can use, see if you can find some people that are interested in lowman limbus and dynamis, VWNM etc etc etc.

Thats it your done you beat the game time to uninstall ffxi and go play outside

This list is pretty good, but don't get confused, +2 Empyrean isn't the end all gear in every slot (Although it usually is in most slots).

Rule of Thumb: 26% Haste in gear (Which is true cap) > ALL.

Also create seperate TP, Evasion, and WS sets, and probably a Waltz set (end game gear would consist of af1+1 body, af2+1 hat, Roundel Earring and Phurba).

Also, I think 4 would be Twashtar, as it's DNC's highest DPS dagger.

First make a Tp gear set with haste and solid WS gear set and a solid eva set

Before play abbysea you need get this key items. This key items will make the Travester stones NPC give you more often Stones.

Azure Abyssite of Celerity

Killing Tonberry Bedevilers or Cryptonberry Occultist in the Abyssea - Konschtat zone.

Ivory Abyssite of Celerity

Purchased from Cruor Prospector for 9000 cruor in Abyssea - Grauberg, Abyssea - Uleguerand or Abyssea - Altepa

Crimson Abyssite of Celerity

Completing the quest Whither the Whisker in Abyssea - Vunkerl

Then play abbysea party for cap your merits and get 100k of crour so you can buy a lunar abbysite.

Kill 1 Abbysea area boss for get another lunar abbysite. For now having 2 lunar abbysiste will be nice.

Now get good atmas. This ones are very important.

Razed ruins
Gnarled horn
Sanguine scythe
Cloak & dagger or Sand emperor.

Now work in evasion trial magian daggers them are very easy to get and you will need them for solo the NMS for your Head, legs,feet empyreal armor +1. The body and hands i recomend you quest the seals. The NMs are a pain for body specially.

When you are done with this. You can make a Trial magian attack/STr dagger. Start work on empyreal armor +2, now kill the 9 bosses, 6 cap creatures for get more atmas and shinryu acess

Not doubting you, just adding on to your suggestions which are already great.

I've seen too many people in full af3 when dusk gloves/feet are so readily available nowadays.
