Was wondering about the idea of adding one extra step in dominion ops. For most xp parties iv been in, selecting ops is a bit of a pain. With all the players npcs (ex wyvern) the reglare npcs, and the mobs, select the right npc alone can take a little bit. Its also even harder if a mob is near by useing any aoe, or Pt member desides to buff at that exact moment. Not to mention the lag that can build up for a lot of people.

So i was thinking of adding a step. Instead of needing to talk to the npc after every 5 kills, add an option to choice form a lsit of numbers, such as 5, 25, 50 kills. No extra rewards or anything. If u get 3k for 5 kills u still get 30k for 50 kills. It will be up to the player to chose an appropriate amount based on what their doing.
Ex: take part in ops - op 14 - 25 mobs - comfirm.

This would yeild the same xp result currently in play so nothing will be changed their. But it will help the people focus on the combat itself and not havein to deal with any of the issues listed above.

why not just allow them a portable way to to do them Like my suggestion where you can get an unlimited use item that allows user to do them from anywhere in zones once they get them?

cause mines a bit more logical. And i would imagin, a hell of a lot easier to program in

You still have to walk beck to the ops, another drawback is when you set a number (say 50) if the group breaks at 35 your not going to get any credit.

I think the best easy fix is when you have an ops active it counts the times you've completed it and auto renews the same dominion until you talk to the sergent. When you decide to talk to the sargent it would allow you to get credit for all of the completed sets. No need to set the amount just fight until you want your rewards

You want logic, thats logic.
This is much better then yours and just as simple to program.

Same thing as it is now. When you set it to five, if group stops at 3, u dont get credit. Thats nothing new. Its up to the player to judge how far to go.

Adding a simple number to already current ops would be much earier then reprogramming them all to be reaccuring ops. Besides, considering how much easier and faster it is now to get xp, you dont want to make it TO easy. Mine as well ask em to open up some gerbur and spoon feed ya.

So basically go in as NIN90 get a page with 50 doll kills in altepa then change to a lv 30 job and turn in page? Rinse and repeat.... Sounds fun I guess.

obviously not. Pages should be canceled when u leave the zone. I was suprised it wasnt that way from the start. However if you do turn in a page on a job that far below 75, you get drasticly reduced xp, so i guess its half way.

And even if they hadn't thats no worse than key'ing your way to cap. There is no need to have it wipe when you zone (and thus screw everyone who experiences connection loss -.-)...

For OPs I would say this; Add an option that in when you finish the "page" the NPC imediately replies with the option "Would you like to take on another OPs XX?"

It'd be just as good to have it auto-renew. If you want to quit just talk to the dominion FoV book or GoV book. Running back to NPC and book is the biggest bottle neck and is the biggest cause of clustering. Remove the need to run back to the NPCs and it'll increase the pool of useful camps.

While it is a valid suggestion to just make an option for larger pages... I personally still like auto-renew more.

well of course that would be nice, but i figured adding a quanity would be much easier for them to program, thus more likly to have it actuly happen'
