so i was thinking about how adventuring fellows cause so much downtime due 2 stuff like no refresh or regen ect., how the only gear out ther for them is the event sword and the hydra armour and how they are still pretty weak even wit the new lvl caps.
so i was thinking y not make some special adventuring fellow BCNM battles? you could buy the orbs frm ajakheem for fellow points from under his "items for myself" section and you could make some decent rewards for completing them.
for example you could have gear sets with stuff like fellow: <refresh, regen, hp and mp, emnity+/-,attributes ect.> latent effect: <stats>. latent effect active while npc is summoned. mabe even make job specific gear sets so tht more specialised jobs like pet jobs dont get left out, culd have a BCNM orb for each job. mabe make the gear start as lvl 30 gear and then make it so you can level it through trial of the magians. (if its job specific gear you could put the trials on the green moogle)
the BCNMs could also drop other items like specialised potions and ethers that you can only use on your npc (like those pet potions and salves but only for fellows).
I think this would make NPC's a lot more useful and versatile aswell as add in some fun new npc specific content and armour that people might not only carry around just 2 equip when summoning ther npc but actually keep it on too.
