ffxi-4001 and Pol-0250 error codes

I have been trying to play today and get disconnected within 2 minutes of starting. I have even been disconnected before the character is fully loaded. I am getting error codes ffxi-4001 and POL-0250. I have been watching my internet and I'm not loosing connection there, and I have not had any changes with my firewall.

Im having the same problem. Xbox live does not disconnect nor any other game but I cant stay in the game for more than 15 minutes without D/C ing. Called my ISP and its nothing on their end. SE has to atleast acknowledge this and credit us for lost playing time. This is so frustrating.

I have double checked my ports, uninstalled and reinstalled my firewall and I still have connection issues.

I find I can play everquest II extended without loosing connection
