I would like to know what SE considers "irregular activity." I have been banned for this "irregular activity" and I have no idea what that would be. Would it be profanity? Or something of that nature? Somebody please help me out.

A lot of times, a ban like that typically means the STF tagged you as an RMT for some reason. If you're a real player, call the Playonline Information Center immediately and have them get started looking into the matter as soon as possible. Their number is 1-858-790-7529 in the United States and they operate in Pacific time (GMT-8). They should be open in 45 minutes if their hours haven't changed since the last time I called them (couple years ago).

Yes, I was banned today. I don't even have a mule, I went into a live chat with them. All they had was "your account has been banned due to irregular activity." So I don't know why i would've been banned, never bought or sol gil, never did any repeatable quest on mules, nothing. This is quite frustrating considering that I did absolutely nothing =/

Have you ever traded large amounts of gil (i.e. acquiring popsets, split-selling expensive items repeatedly, or helping someone sell dynamis currency)? I've seen SE banhammer for that sort of activity before. I think if they'd banned you for language they would have said that instead of irregular activity.

Hello again guys, I have been roaming the web and apparently I may have been banned for using my cruor to make gil. I have been using my cruor to trade for the Aurore Teal and Perle armor sets. Apparently that is "irregular activity." Seriously SE, if you don't want people to NPC the gear for gil, then make the gear so that it can't get NPC'd. I would like you guys to sign this if you think that they should make it unable to be NPC'd, or that this is false banning someone for something like this.

I'm not so sure about that. Lots of people do that. Lots of people also uset heir dominion notes to buy weapons to sell to NPCs because they have no other use for the points.None of them that I know have been banned.

If I were you, I would talk to a SGM personally (emphasis on the personally part) and find out exactally why, in their own words, why you were banned, in detail. Then, if its something that other people can commonly do (like sell NPCable stuff from cruor) ask them why other people aren't banned from the same thing.

Throw in legal representation if they aren't giving you satisfactory responses. Although the ToS states "SE has the right to terminate anyone from the game" there are consumer rights also (only works if you are a US citizen, anywhere else and you have to look up your country's laws to find out what rights you have). Most you can get however, is a full refund of your game and/or monthly fees. But those are rare cases.

People have won against companies for this btw. Look up California Case Law and Trials for stuff like that.

Well, I never did any RMT. My brother gave me 500k to start the game and after I hit level 30 I started using cruor for all my gil after that 500k. I am on Xbox 360 not PC so I can't use any 3rd party tools. So I have no clue why I have been banned =/

I would definitely call the support center, then. If you don't get a straight answer from your first rep, ask to speak to a supervisor and don't let them cut you off until you do. Make sure not to let them get off the line for any reason until you have the answers you're looking for. If they ask if it's okay to put you on hold, say "No, I will wait on the line. I do not want to be placed on hold." If they ask to call you back or say they'll investigate, ask to speak to a supervisor.

I've never had anything but good experiences with the phone staff personally, but I've heard enough horror stories to recommend proceeding firmly.

Hello again, I asked to speak to a supervisor on the phone, and the guy on the phone started stuttering like it was his job. He said there were no supervisors available to be spoken to. Seems kind of fishy that he started stuttering as soon as I asked for a supervisor. I also said that I may have to take legal action if I don't get anymore info on why I was banned. That is pretty much how my phone call went. Doesn't sound like I will get un-banned. It is very suspicious that the guy got "scared" in a sense when I asked for a supervisor and when i said i might take legal action.

Maybe because you only haved 1 month with the acount. And you used convert a lot of crour to gil. They have a "lolz smart" auto ban system, when they detect a player getting high amount of gil obtained from npc stuff.

The Acount with less 90 days activity the SE auto ban system have special cautions due the RMT, always maked new chars and npc items, everyone remember the guys npcing things in bastok right?. Thanks this guys a lot legit people is having this problems ><

Hmm a lot of people or maybe (all) Convert crour to gil, but they have with the acount a lot of time. >< If your acount gets unbanned i hope so, dont convert crour to gil all days, do it just a few days of months. or SE auto ban system will get you.

It sounds like the Auto-banner just picked you up since your account is so new and you're generating so much gil. Appeal it to a SGM or Supervisor (keep calling until you get one, don't just give up at one) until it's fixed.

You are dealing with Americans, Californians to be exact, and also human beings.

You were also picked up by a program designed to automatically ban RMT players from doing basically the same thing you are doing.

As suggested, contact the Call center and continue to appeal it until you are unbanned. Don't give up, and keep a cool head, and you will be back online in no time.

Continue with this attitude and you might as well forget it, they don't have to help you with this at all. As far as they are concerned you were banned rightfully and the case it closed. If you're nice they might try and help you with it but they don't have to at all, infact very few bans are overturned.

I had a friend's mule account reactivated after a year of non-use and it was banned within 12 hours of logging in. (Assuming because I traded it 1m to regear) When I called SE, initially, they refused to tell me why I was banned, the the phone person claiming "we aren't given that type of infomation." I then received an email stating my credit card was used on an account that was charged-back (which never happened, and my other account on that card was untouched). Then, when I called AGAIN, they refused to let me speak to a supervisor, claiming he was busy. After about 40 minutes, I was able to extract the "name" and mailing address of said supervisor so I could write a letter about the incident. Awesome. I also never heard anything from the ban complaint I submitted either. After one more call, they told me I could fax them my credit card information and other information to verify and they would "investigate," but at that point, I was so fed up with the whole process, I chalked it up to a loss and levelled a new character.

So, good luck in any further dealings you have with those people. Worst customer service from a company I have ever experienced.
