I think a cell phone app that dings you when one of your friends comes online would be a great idea. Any ideas if something like this is in the works from Square-Enix? :confused:

I'd totally pay for an app that would not only let me know who's online, but let me chat with friends via linkshell and tell, and switch linkshells (Only ones currently in your regular inventory, no safe/locker/storage/satchel/sack.
WoW has an app for guild chat, dunno about the rest of the chats, and since you can only have one guild in their game...
