returning player and wanting to start over

so i last played this game i think 5 years ago. Im looking to come back and start from scratch so my 3 questions are....

What server should i play on? (my old server was deserted and as such waiting around for a party lasted longer than the party itself. thats basically why i quit lol)

What male race aside from tarutaru or should i pick for either dark knight or black mage as a main? (i will probly switch between the 2 as they were my favorites before i quit.)

Can anyone give me a code for the vana'diel adventurer recruitment program please?

I'm on Shiva, I've never tried other servers but during the busy times and weekends our population is generally between 4500-5000 online at the same time. Very quiet times fall to 1,500 or so. I've never seen much lower than that myself. It's 2,500 now at 5PM UK time on Thursday. I usually get a PT easily on the weekend. Not tried on weekend since I'm busy busy busy

For the second question I think a Hume might be a good answer, or Elvaan.. Hmm..

Hello :) For the first question I've only been on shiva and recently on Asura. In Shiva I didn't stay much longer after the merge, but while I was there I could get Aby parties but no lowler level ones (probably just bad luck for me) though if you plan on forming your own ones you might have more luck! So in my opinion Asura would be a better pick if you think on partying low levels and Abyssea.
For the second I'd say Hume or Mithra.

All the lowest population servers were merged with mid-population servers to try to balance them out with the high population servers, almost a month ago. Your old character should now be on a more active server.

If you start on Ragnarok with a new character, I can get you a Gold World Pass. Waiting for parties isn't a problem anymore since EXP was doubled from most mobs, and so you can solo EP-DC stuff for more EXP than you are used to, with only 2-3 people. You can even solo effectively. I got SAM to 30 solo in about a week.
