I have to admit I was a little excited when seeing a new post about Abyssea congestion, hoping there would be some solutions to help alleviate general NM congestion. Maybe this is just on Asura, but there seems to be no time when I can go to a forced pop or timed spawn seal NM without 1 or 2 groups already there.

Most of the time you can be nice and ask groups to alternate with you, but sometimes people don't play nice and make it a "spam macros to pop" race. Either way, groups end up burning tons of Abyssea time just watching other groups fight NMs, whether it be alternating or a race to pop. It's not fun nor does it feel like productive playtime. Even worse, for newer players who just bought the Abyssea Ultimate collection and are ready to start farming their +1 seals, they're burning all of their precious few stones watching other players fight these NM. Sure, they can go to farm time first before starting on NM, but why should anyone spend 30 minutes - 3 hours collecting time before doing what they actually want to do during their play session?

I played this game from 2003-2007, then just recently started back up again a few months ago. The game is certainly easier than it was before, but it definitely isn't any less frustrating. From what I've seen of Abyssea, we don't need the game to be easier, just less frustrating.

Recently extra ??? were added for some popular NM in Abyssea. Why weren't extra ??? added for every Abyssea NM? We're already limited by how much time we can have in Abyssea before we have to zone out or get more stones; 48% of my time is spent watching other groups fight the NM, 48% spent watching a NIN or MNK or THF solo the mob while we try to get triggers, and 4% is actually spent fighting the NM. It's just not a satisfying feeling at all.

I know some people will respond that I'm asking for SE to make the game easier. The challenge shouldn't be in actually popping the mob or claiming the mob, but rather in the fight itself. Sometimes I feel like this is all Dragon's Aery over again, except these NM are much less exciting than Fafnir or Nidhogg were in 2005. Make interesting, challenging fights that aren't mind numbingly boring or a pushover because of atmas or brews, and don't give players reasons to be jerks to each other by giving only one spawn point.

Build the community, don't break it. Also my Blist is getting pretty full. :(

This already exists.

If you check Wiki every type of seal drop can be farmed from 3 different NMs so you have 3 choices/options same as EMP NMs. It's almost always the way that the easier mob is the busiest and as such soloed, try the harder ones if you have more people.

Maybe it's my luck or timing, but I've often been forced to check the other NM because my original pick was busy with one or more groups, only to find the other ones occupied too. A lot of people that I've met are players who are returning to the game because of the Ultimate pack and have never done Abyssea, and are just now starting to seal farm. There is a lot of congestion on all of these NMs, regardless of how "easy" or "difficult" they're perceived to be. When any shout group can just buy pop items off the AH and head off to any NM instantly, things are bound to get congested.
