Since the update i've really enjoyed DRK :)

My sub choices i pretty much never play /SAM anymore it's either /MNK or /WHM and now very rarely /THF.

One thing I'm wondering is if ya don't have a mage to haste you is DRK/WHM the best sub cause i have a feeling it is?

Alot of the time i don't have to do this since i can dual box a WHM so i sub MNK the amazing thing about this is i can duo almost any KI dropping NM for my linkshell so we can split up and get more done which is really useful. Either way DRK with 300% aftermath /MNK and 65% haste really is amazing i makes me feel DRK is not broken anymore i enjoy it alot.

I'd like to know if other pples playstyles have changed much if at all ?

Ps i love how Counterstance makes ur def like 60 so Last resort def down has no effect ^^

Edit: i new thing i've been thinking about is a Souleater build since u need to lose either Body or legs for souleater enhances u need to make up the haste some how.

I know there is a 8% haste helm and Blitz right

Since the update, I've been able to get into groups far more easily. I've even gotten several invitations without having a party flag up.

However, I'm still /SAM and only because of Store TP. I am working towards Redemption, though, and I think I'll attempt changing my subjob to something else when I get it. 5-Hit isn't impossible but I'd have to sacrifice a lot of good gear to do it. I'll be swinging too fast for it to really matter anyway.

Then again, we'll see.

I'm finally able to tank on drk inside abyssea since the update. /sam will always be tops in pure melee dps.

Also my torcleaver build is nearly completed (missing jangjing legs) i've got it pushed up to 1500-2500 average.

/thf cannot touch a 6 hit inside abyssea that doesn't sacrifice 100+ attack and capped haste.

so far its looking like scorpion queen/rr/AoA is best for pure total dmg. As I guessed the extra 10% crit rate from scorp queen adds far more than 5% da from plaguebearer in terms of total dmg due to ODD.

God this is so much fun.

of course then ukko's had to do 10,000+ without stalwarts/food/2hour/doesn't take double dmg, or anything like that to one of the nm's in mis coast that had me shaking my head.

Outside this has been such a boost to drk that I'm honestly in a bit of shock. I just trashed my masamune sam friend in the past 3 parses (literally not even close). He's a damn good player too, uses spellcast like me and all that.

war and mnk are still king, but drk is back in the game. I still wish for stronger ws's (FIX MY APOC FFS!)

also why save for aftermath 3 when you should get TP in like 20 sec with last resort and 30ish w/o last resot no need to hold that shizz

Cause i'm on the WHM as well i just put counter stance up then lvl 3 aftermath and just wreck with auto melee/counter while i cure on the WHM lol

Acully i was gonna /tell ya at some point just to say hi and all. As for help i'm pretty sure i don't need any lol unless u mean the free gil kind then yes plz ^^.

I've enjoyed the longer duration of last resort. That was a great idea! I attack much faster with cap haste from gear, + desperate blows merit, +haste spell and marches.
