Sending Macro Books and map markers to friends.

I've got a friend whos just started leveling up whm and well due to how easy it is to exp these days and how fast one can get to lvl 90.
He dose seem to lack a few spells macroed in that I would considered important for quick execution.

So I though would it not be great if I could send him my whm macro book which he could use as a template to work for his own.

Also map marked up by your self.
Would be nice if you could send that to your friends or at least be able to mark his map.

if you are on PC you can copy the folder your character's macros and such are in, not sure how well it would work pasting that into theirs though

You won't be able to copy Character A's macros on Player A's computer over to Character B on Player B's computer. Macros are both machine-specific and character-specific. Even if Crawlerbasher copied his USER folder over to his friend, his friend would only have his WHM macros if he logged into Crawlerbasher's account.

That said, it would be interesting if this was implemented (and certainly would make life a lot easier for the large number of players who dualbox these days). I'm just not sure if I see it happening :(

Aye on PC to PC all that stuff is stored in pol folder > user > and then its like 1:1 on the log in I think, idk, atm I have like 8 log ins there on mine ...

You could also sit him down and explain to him the important macros he's missing and why they're important. I guess this could be the whole "catch a fish feed a man for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him the rest of his life" kind of scenarios.

I agree that this would be great for dualboxing.

On PC macros are not locked to a single character, since you can move them into another character's folder. I downloaded a SCH macro set off the wiki and implanted it into my PC, and then my consoles via server storage.
