Do I even need to introduce this? =D
The key items page is huge with Atmas and Abyssites. There are multiple problems with where they're sorted right now:
1. Temporary Key Items? Unless I'm missing something, aren't these permanent?
2. Abyssites and Atmas are mixed in together, and worse, even some other key items are falling into the mix!
3. As mentioned before, the sheer amount of Atmas OR Abyssites is huge, let alone both together.
My suggestion is simple from a viewer's standpoint (I admit to zero programming skill. Please don't kill me if it's harder. D=).
1. Remove Atmas and Abyssites from the Temporary Key Items list.
2. Add in two new sections, one for Atmas, one for Abyssites.
3. Move them into the appropriate section.
Just my suggestion. =)

I think it was suggested before and they said it was too much work to redo it and sub-divide everything, personally the only thing I care about is temp Abyssea KI to pop nms, searching through all the KI to see which pop NM KI you have is really stupid.

The key items was divided in an update in 2007 once before (near the end)

Little tip I found that help spotting which pop KIs you have is to chech everything but the KIs so that they stay with the big dot next to them, might be to late for most though.

I've taken to using a spreadsheet to document my atmas/abyssites/pop items. It's just a lot of silly to have to go that far, in my opinion. I also agree that I see no reason they couldn't do it, because I know they made one change to the key items in a previous update to section them off.
And yeah, add "pop key items" as another one that's needed.

I wonder how hard it would be to make programing like that?
I believe they're temporary because they're only active while you're in Abyssea. That's the only reason I can think of that they'd be in temporary and not permanent.

I don't think that logic necessarily holds up, based on certain permanent key items. Limit Breaker is only active if you're 75+ (I know limit points are active at lower levels, but I'm sure that could be worked around.)
There's also some items in the permanent key items that really have no need to be...Fake moustache? Angelica's autograph? Carrier pigeon letter? Just to name a couple.
Well you never lose those permanent key items. And I suppose that Limit Breaker is required to be permanent because as you said, some merits are usable pre-75, and, perhaps it's necessary to have in your key items at all times to have access post-75 as well.

Is there a way to lose atmas and abyssites?
Key Items for poping NMs, I can see them being temp, but why are atmas and abyssites temps when there isn't a way to lose them?
