New Job ability/pet ~ Cardian Cards

There exist an in-game item/concept called Cardians. When the puppet master job was first introduced, I thought the job would be controlling Cardian rather the Automaton. I'd like SquareEnix to introduce a new job ability for puppet master that use the auction house "Cardian cards" as a form of quick summons. Think a Summoners elemental spirits mixed with automaton.
The card use could have a timer of 5 minutes that "summons" a Cardian. The Cardian could stick around for 1 min or two and depending on the card type fight, buff or nuke. Could be useful while automaton timer is down.

So getting a new auto every min (even if it is @25% hp and mp) isn't enough for you?

Nothing should be compared to spirits, because spirits are just useless bits of code these days.

Frankenstein revisited... the combination of necromancy (cardians) and technology (automatons). What can go wrong!

I could see cardians work as a sort of fellow (but without the party size limit). Level and job of the cardian to be determined by the used card.

But I would see more use in sphere/aura effects generated by some device deployed by a PUP.

* small mantelet/martello : grants Regen/Refresh/Regain to nearby players (including out of party)
* nyzul lamp : enhances attack, accuracy, magic attack, magic accuracy, defense, evasion, etc of pets. (equivalent of COR rolls, which they won't use on a pet job anyway)
* spheroid : no idea what they would do, but having a mini-Death Star follow you around is always cool :D

We have other issues that need to be fixed. These stupid ideas jsut distract from this and make pup community look like fools.
