I posted this on another site, but basically I remember there was talk about when a thief was under their 2hr, additional damage would be applied to SATA. I don't know if anything ever came of this but I would like to see an update to the usefulness of "hide" when it pertains to the thieve's /JA "steal, mug, and SATA".
In traditional roleplaying games, bonuses were added to a thief's roll when under the effects of "shadow". So I'm suggesting a mild-moderate modifier to steal, mug, and SATA. As far as steal and mug is concerned, I'd like to see a thief have either a bonus and/or a chance to keep the "hide" effect up AND possibly NOT aggro mobs whether successful or not.
As far as SATA, a significant modifier to damage caused by SATA while under the effect of hide, perhaps with a chance to keep hide up.

You mean a "Stance"?

Like Hasso and Seigan for Sam, Yonin and Innin for Nin, etc...

I like the idea of a "Shadow" type stance... Maybe something Along the lines of:

Shadow:
Recast 1 min, Duration 5 minutes
While under the effect of shadow, Sneak Attack will successfully land, regardless of positioning to the monster, as long as attention is not focused on the Thf. Also gives an enmity bonus when a successful Trick Attack is landed.

Trickster:
Enhances Evasion, Accuracy, and Subtle blow while you have the attention of the monster. Reduces Enmity for Trick Attack; Reduces enmity gained from collaborator/accomplice.

These are crappy ideas, I'm not good at this fan-fic crap... so to end this post... Stances for thf.. yes please!
