Just wanted to say THANK you Se for all the Dynamis changes.. after doing namis for a few weeks now my husband and I Have figured a lot about it for the procs and such and have finally made decent progress on his relic weapon after 2 years! Its still going to take us 4-5 months (compared to a few weeks for empyreans) to probably finish it but its much better progress then he had been getting! so seriously SE love the change thank you! Only better thing you could do for relics is lower the amount need for stage 5 :D! Though im sure thats not happening anytime soon lol

thank god, there is someone with at least half a brain cell working on these forums, i congratulate you on actually doing work, and finding out how things work and working them to your advantage before coming to QQ about things changing

exactly!! You really gotta just give stuff a chance in this game! and it takes a little bit of work and effort to figure things out but once you do it feels great and rewarding! Finally making progress for him is great since he wanted his relic for so long. To be honest we didn't figure it all out on our own we did some googling/browsing on other forums like BG and FFXIAH but it also took some practice to get things to go smoothly!

I ran into you on Friday while we were doing Windy, BG.
Unfortunately, I don't agree with you. Even tho' the changes have made my bard viable now in a puller role-in addition to letting me get in the mage parties for the double ballad (it's like everyone forgot how to play without refresh Atma...)-I'm generally not pleased with the new Dynamis.
Camps are an issue, there are VERY few places where rest and recovery are possible. While the mages can heal the melee so they don't need to rest (and let's face it, most won't even if it is safe), mages need to get that MP back! Now I can manage to get those in my party 5/tick or 8/tick if I /rdm, but that's just my party. With mages in the 1k+ MP range that's an issue. Between mob placement and the repops being so fast you're often lucky if you can rest long enough to get MP for your next sneak/invisible.
That asinine !! thing. Honestly, I hate not damaging ___, while it's trying to kill me just so I can !! As weak as the NMs are-not to mention the regular ones-to players as skilled as my group they frequently die before we can !! anything. Hell, we got a dark with his 85 relic lance that 1-2 shots all the regular ones.
We're devising new stats, maybe multiple groups for regular kills and only gathering for the NM fights. We already use a 3 blm 1 thf pt to take out the TEs. Would help if we got more refreshers, but I'm the only bard and our rdms/blu just happen to also be our blms and whms. Our cor has lately had some scheduling conflicts. At least the blms can Aspir and /rdm.

Well I definitely agree with you with the lack of camps ESPECIALLY for WINDY, they did not leave much room for camping in that zone at all. Which does suck. Its def by all means not perfect but i still enjoy it much more now then i did before. And i wish we didnt have to proc to get currency drops but i dont mind it.. its def become more low man friendly thant big groups.

How much currency are you able to make out with in a 2hr run?

I'm sure it varies, but you can see some impressive numbers with a bigger group. Lets take Sandy for instance.
in sandy, I was able to get ~130 Coins or so (been a while) with 6 people. If you bring 18, and split them up into groups of 6 taking different camps (1 @ AH, 1 @ Entrance, somewhere else), If each kills the same speed as my group of 6, Procing/etc, thats possible 390 coins a run, maybe realistically 350.
thats 1,050 coins per 3 days with a dedicated group of 18.
This is not including any NMs dropping 100's.
This is also not including the fact you can still do CoP Zones during that time.
new dynamis is absolutely stunning if you can get a large group, even if you cant, 390 coins in 3 days without 100's or doing CoP is nice to me. given that time. it'd take me ~2months to finish Bart, and not buying anything, ~3 months on 10,000 Byne. 5 months for a 4/5stage relic doing Dynamis every day, with no 100's, and not doing CoP or buying currency.
Its good enough to keep me going :X
Oh, As for Proc information, Since some of you hate BG for no reason, he's the current method/theory/etc.

First Things first:
Get all TEs. The proc system is based on how many TE's you have gotten. like follows.
0/2 TEs = You cannot Proc
3 TEs = You can proc Blue(?). This does nothing for you as far as i can tell. Its "Hard" to proc this
4 TEs = You can proc Yellow(?). This increases Currency drop rate, Terrors i believe as well. "Medium" difficulty to proc. (I'd say ~10%)
5 TEs = You can proc Red (?), This Terrors Enemy, prevents them from 2houring, and Increases Currency yield. is "Easy" to proc. (I'd say ~15/20% Chance to proc, Magic seems harder to proc for my group)
This said, Your best bet is to kill all 5 TE's before you farm.
How to proc?
Proccing follows different rules in Dynamis. Firstly, You can proc during TP, or Magic, You can proc anytime. How you proc depends on the Enemies job. Like follows.
Light Armor jobs (THF,MNK,BST,RNG,NIN) = Job Abilities.
Heavy armor jobs (WAR,DRG,DRK,SAM,PLD) = Weaponskill Procs
Magic Type jobs (SMN,WHM,BLM,RDM,BRD) = Magic Procs.
There is no 1 specific Ability/etc Selected. Procing is a % Chance, Not a specific Ability. I.E, If you spam Dia on a BRD, It will eventually proc the mob. Some people feel there are 'higher chances' to proc based on some things. I.E Some people believe casting songs on a BRD is a better chance to proc, or Banish on a WHM. I don't think this holds true.
How does it effect drops?
From what i can tell. Once you acquire all 5 TEs, And can trigger red reliable, currency seems to return to old style drop rates. Meaning mobs will drop 1-4 Currency. NM 100's are still stupid rare. I've killed maybe 20 NMs in my time in different zones and have seen 1 single 100 piece, Even procing most/all of them (about 75% of them proc'd). The one I didn't proc, Ironically, Dropped the 100. My opinion is that procing Free-spawn/Lottery NMs has no effect on 100s (it does effect their normal currency though, so still do it).
So its in your best interest to proc, But also kill the mobs in a timely fashion. I try to go with a THF/DNC, NIN/DNC as much as possible, and simply target Light armor jobs. I've found "JA" jobs easiest to proc. WS and Magic i have problems with. Weaponskill is the worst, as you have to kill them as you try and proc, Even spamming weak WS, I rarely trigger them before they die. Magic mobs are fickle, Sometimes Sleepga II will proc right off the bat, SOmetimes ~30 spells will go off and no proc.

well now the system looks fine to me.
with a pt of 3 (rdm , nin ,drg) we left with 70-90 currencys.only sad thing is that most time after 1 hour another pt came and tried to overcamped us, due to this we wasted sometimes about 10-15 min with waiting for repops -.-

How much currency are you able to make out with in a 2hr run?
With our Trio ( thf rdm and drg) we get roughly 70-90ish, sometimes more some times less. IF we have a couple mroe friends come we can get over 100 Easy. and with us going every day and getting roughlt 5 jades a week, he will be done with stage 5 in about 4 months.
