View Full Version : Get rid of once per week restrictions on XP band recharge and lamian fang key.

The lamian fang key is particularly troublesome. I don't think you can get to most of those cells without two keys, but the ??? spot only gives one per week. I know you can farm them, but the drop rate is abysmal. Maybe up the drop rate and/or get rid of the once per week restriction?

Also, let's drop the "you can only recharge or buy 1 chariot/empress/emperor" band per week. It seems a little out of date considering all the changes that have been made to boost XP rate. I'm fine with keeping the 16 hour cooldown timer. Keep this, and actually the Empress Band is unaffected (it takes a week to blow through all 7 charges anyway), but it would help with the Empress Band.

No... drop the use charge to 1 hour, there is no need for 16 hours use. If I want to use all 7 charges in 7 hours should be my choice to do so.

If you don't use it every single day of the week, you should be using an emperor band instead anyway.

this, yes!

and as to the XP band, meh! there are about 7,131 more important things to fix in this game than XP rings, we get XP so fast now that I think I'm going to throw all my XP rings away for the inventory space.

Didn't I mention this? Did you read my post? I know that you can farm them; the drop rate sucks. I spent a solid hour trying to farm one, and nothing.

Maybe, but the XP ring thing seems a lot easier to fix. Why the assumption that the Dev team can't work on multiple things at once?

I agree, with Abyssea being the easy XP button, being able to recharge rings at will does not seem to be a big issue to me. In fact it seems to add to the goal of helping getting people outside of Abyssea to XP.

It sure does. Changing this won't affect abyssea exp rates, so people who want to level really fast won't level really faster. Those not really hella fast will just get closer to those who do level really fast.

I would however be satisfied with the current rings getting their exp caps per change doubled, because that makes sense when the exp rate is also doubled. Same goes for FoV reward exp.
