How many brews have you used, and why did you brew it?

I thought it'd be a fun topic.

I've used four brews so far...

1: Iratham aggroed us during Chloris. I really hate Iratham. I killed Iratham and Chloris (three times) with this brew.

2: Rani for my Epona Ring.

3: I was in Grauberg and saw Raja destroying an alliance of ~15. I offered to help kill it, and promptly ate Royal Decree for like 7000 damage. So they raged it... I reraised, and popped a brew. The people rejoiced.

4: Exactly the same situation as #1, except this time the Chloris buds were for a DRG friend. I really, really... hate Iratham in ways you cannot imagine.

Also, inb4 "cool story bro" and Malacite.

I've used three brews.

1. on Shinryu for items.

2. on Shinryu for more items.

3. on Shinryu for atma.

Probably 15+, mostly on blue-n-brew Shinryus that refuse to drop helm/mail.

Plenty of people on Levi who looooove to TP in the set though, so he clearly drops them lots :<

None yet, haven't really needed to for personal purposes. Will probably change when I need to maul a bunch of Apadamaks for horns.

Brewed Shinryu once, solo. Died. lol.

Wasted brew on Rani last night, because I wasn't very prepared for it (spur-of-the-moment thing really, most of the gear I had wanted to use was in MH so I was like forget that).

I think I've only used two, but I'm going to end up using many more, I'm sure.

Versus Shinryu? Very easy : not know what you're doing exactly because you've never done it before, and not killing Shinryu in the 3 minutes you have of Transcendency. 10% Shinryu and in one TP move kills you once Transcendency wears. It's possible to die from attempting to "brew" something, but not while under Transcendency itself (unless you've got bad luck. I've seen people get charmed while brewing so yeah lol).

Rani for Hecate's Earring, and a few times on NMs for +2 items.

Versus Shinryu? Very easy : not know what you're doing exactly because you've never done it before, and not killing Shinryu in the 3 minutes you have of Transcendency. 10% Shinryu and in one TP move kills you once Transcendency wears. It's possible to die from attempting to "brew" something, but not while under Transcendency itself (unless you've got bad luck. I've seen people get charmed while brewing so yeah lol).
Not sure how it would take more than 3 mins for shin...

I've used a bunch on Shinryu on both BST and BLM, I think maybe 5 brews all up? I've lost track.

Planning to brew spam Alfard at some point too.

Like I said, I had never done it before. And accidentally kept healing him sometimes when he used his TP moves or casted spells. Sometimes I just got unlucky. It happens.

No luck is required, just some half assed timing.

You have a point, but it's still some luck. Even if you wait 'til right after he's done casting or using a move, he can use another one immediately after. Doesn't take much to screw yourself over. Not to mention when he's low he spams moves like crazy, further reducing your damage and only healing him. He's not so easy to those who've never fought him solo w/ a brew before. So please, just stop posting empty, meaningless retorts against my own personal account of using a brew.

Used 2 one for isgsbind for LOLs right after I got 200k brews. One shin for a friend trying for helm/body since he brewed my win to get 200k brews.

Supernova and completely unprepared for it because you didn't think about it. In before doom screen etc Cpt Obvious stuff.

At least 7 brews.

4 on Shinryu for items.

3 on Yaanei for Aias Bonnet.

Yaanei ones were purely because I was too lazy to kill him properly so just went to solo brew him in piercing on thf and see what happened.
