Dear SE give our avatars a specific emote for each.

Carby -Glows all the colors of the rainbow
Shiva- Give a somewhat intimating pose
Garuda- Would expand her wings
Ifrit- Eyes will glow red and hands will ignite in flames.
Rahmuh- Would throw around his staff fancy like creating lines of lightning.
Titan- Smash the ground a couple of times like King Kong
Leviathan- Colorful water bubbles appear in the air
Fenrir- Howls at the moon
Diabolos- makes a dream world portal

That does sound fun! Drg and pup get emotes, give em to smn and bst as well!

No, Smn doesn't need emotes. This is a horrible idea.

Its a funny idea, But i'd rather get something useful than some more eye candy :\

I agree with ya Karb, with Malamasala constantly asking SE for spirit changes and SE constantly ignoring Mala...I figured why the hell not ask for some emotes.

SE constantly has ignored Smn I'm sure this wont hurt.

I'm thankful for the changes that have been made however still needs more work.

I hope this is sarcasm :|. SMN has its awesome-ness in "Hateless DD", but outside of that 1 unique thing, Its not efficient in anything. It can do Decent Bloodpact Damage, But only once every 45 Seconds.

Abyssea as an Example:

Lets say you have even 100% Activation on SMN+2 Set bonus (Impossible), and say you do 11,000 each BP. You now do 11,000 DMG per 45 seconds not including melee.

my THF averages an attack round every ~2/3 seconds (less with full haste buffs, this is with Haste/+samba). Say i hit for ~180 a swing (Critical hit), I get TP every 10 Swings(Dual Wield), not including Double/Triple Attack. So, Every 20 Seconds i do about 3,600 points of Damage, and then WS, lets say for only 1,500. So thats 5,100 damage in 20 seconds. somewhere around 10,200 every 44 seconds.

So, Assuming you always do Double you BP DMG (Set bonus) you barely beat a THF, and i'm low-low-ending that EVISC number and high-ending the BP Damage. This is also assuming i don't Triple, Double, or Quad attack a single time, which is unlikely as i sit around ~35% Triple Attack rate in Abyssea.

Do you see where I'm going :\? the job is nice for "FIREWORK" numbers, but even BLM and SCH out-shines SMN on that because of BLM and SCH not being limited to a 45 second "nuke" Timer.

Normally, without Set bonus, PC/HS will do around ~5k If your mob isn't resistant. So you can see how badly that reflects on SMN, They can't even come close to outdamaging a THF in normal circumstances. Even if you left your pet to melee you would still fall drastically behind. a 45 Second BP timer is designed for a 75 cap, at 90+, Its just too restricting.

Outside of Abyssea... The Gap closes a bit, but not enough to warrant leaving SMN alone. I don't ask for massive buffs, But maybe let BP:Recast go to 30, instead of 45, this would help a lot.

I love SMN as a job, So I'm not just "Bashing" it to bash it, But the job is direly inefficient. Their Damage, While "hateless" is very limited, Most of their buffs have been peddled off to other jobs, losing their uniqueness. One of the only remaining useful things for SMN are Defensive. Alexander and Titans new BP:Ward.

While SMN still has a spot in some fights simply due to their "Disposable" "hateless" nature, those fights are dwindling because of things like Enmity Douse and Mana Wall putting BLM's in less and less danger of "over-nuking and being curbstomped".

Edit: Also don't take this post as an "insult" to you. I'm only explaining to you while SMN is good for Spike Hate-less DMG, its entirely less amazing than it looks.
